Heb. 11:14 tells of those who "being dead yet speaketh." In Lk 6:19-31 the rich man wished to send a message warning his family. Much about Sgt. Horton's life speaks today. But if he could literally communicate I believe he'd tell us three things. Get a good education. Have life and burial insurance. But most of all he'd insist that you need to know Jesus. Sgt. Horton believed true manhood was to accept and fulfil responsibility and prepare for the future. That's why every real man and real woman needs to repent of their sins, trust in the blood of Jesus to save them, and live a faithful life that has eternal fruit. Best I can remember, the prayer he prayed at that Come Together concert went, "Lord Jesus, I'm sorry for my sins and ask You to forgive me. Come into my heart. I receive You as my Saviour, Amen. "Why not pray that prayer now and spend an eternity with Jesus? When you get up there be sure and tell dad, "Sgt. Horton! I got saved reading your website!" Glory to God!

"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" Acts 4:12
